And, establishing a good weight loss workout plan is part of the cure. We just can't avoid it, proper diet and exercise are not only good for you, they are vital. We all need to get started with an effective weight loss workout plan right away.

A weight loss workout plan does not need to be difficult. In fact, it can be very easy, fun and a great stress reducer. Here is the simplest weight loss workout plan that you can get started with.

Turn off the TV, and go for a walk. True, that may seem too easy, but if you're just getting started in your weight loss workout plan, it's the best exercise available. Anyone can do it anytime, anyplace.

There simply isn't any reason to avoid going for a walk. As an exercise, it is scalable. You can start off easy and work up to longer and longer times or distances. Ideally you want to walk at least 30 minutes per day even if you don't want to lose weight. Bad weather? Bundle up and get out there. If you must, you can stay inside and just walk around the house. It's better than not doing it at all.

Jogging can create joint pain, soreness and damage unless you are in terrific shape. As a weight loss workout plan, walking is good because of its low impact. If you can walk, you can safely do this regardless of your age.

You aren't going to hurt yourself by walking too much, so as a weight loss workout plan - 60 minutes per day is good. If all you are after is a maintenance level of exercise, 30 minutes per day should be sufficient and it's a good way to relieve the daily stresses. If you can physically handle them, running and other vigorous exercises are good for you, but studies have shown that walking is just as good, you just have to do it longer.

Most of the better companies promoting a weight loss workout plan have started to realize the tremendous benefits of walking for exercise. If you are considering any formalized plan, I would recommend one of these.

In addition to improving your health, there are many social benefits too! Virtually every community offers hiking and walking clubs and it can be a good way to make new friends and form new relationships.

Considering all the benefits...with almost no drawbacks, you clearly can't go wrong with walking as a weight loss workout plan. The fact that it takes some time is walkings only drawback. However, when you consider the value of your health it's time well spent don't you think?
