1. Why is the Oculus Quest 2 cheap compared to other VR headsets?

Oculus Quest 2 pleases the eye and never gets completely tangled when playing, thanks to a sleek new white color scheme and a complete lack of wires. The benefits of wire-free and untethered virtual reality experiences cannot be underestimated, especially when you play titles that require a lot of movement.

Quest isn't as cheap as it might seem at first glance. VR is not an easy sell - they needed that eye-catching $299 price tag... but then add the "must buy" Elite strap and the price rises to $350, which is only $50 lower than Quest1 was. The rest will be covered by software sales since they have an absolute monopoly in this area.

2. Is Oculus Quest 2 better than Oculus Quest?

Yes, Oculus Quest 2 has a much faster processor, better screen, and more RAM, but it also features an improved design, better touch controls, and support for more accessories. The Oculus Quest 2 is lighter, more powerful, more refined, and cheaper than the original Oculus Quest.

3. What is new in the new Quest Quest 2 edition?

Wonderful. These best reviews in September(Sep), October(Oct), and November (Nov) is my reaction to using Oculus Quest 2 for the first time. Here's standalone the best review consisting of 6 properties yet in the latest overall product review. May be updated in the future

First, setup: very easy. Out of the box you have the headphone, two controllers, a splitter for glasses, a charging cord, and an adapter. This is. Both controllers run on a single AA battery, so you can pull up a small tab to turn them on, then turn on the headset. Then the headset guides you through the quick setup and update. You need to use the Oculus app on your phone at this point so if you don't have the Oculus app and set up an account, you will be prompted for it. I was up and running in about 10 minutes, and the battery was 59% out of the box.

The final step in preparation is to draw the boundaries of the "guardian" around you, which are intended to prevent you from bumping into furniture and obstacles in your room. It has a stand as well as a sitting option which is a really nice feature, as a large net will appear and it will obscure your view if you get lost near the line.

Second, the screen: the clarity is very impressive. I only tried PlayStation VR, but that looks a lot better. The text is really clear and the colors look great. Everything looks clear and smooth. If it seems blurry to you, you may need to set the headset up / down / left / right on your face and experiment with the three different lens spacing options for the best clarity.

Thirdly, sound: The headphone has built-in speakers, which sound surprisingly good. I played several levels of Beat Saber and it wasn't actually that bad. Kinda loves to watch a video on your phone's speakers. good enough, but it won't surprise you. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack that you will want to use for the best sound quality and immersion.

Fourth, controllers: If you are new to VR, you will get a controller for each hand with a few buttons and a joystick. Like the advanced Wii-mote or the Xbox console cut in half with a plastic ring on top. The button design is easy to use and convenient, everything is within easy reach. I actually like these batteries that run on AA batteries because that means no charging stops as long as you have extras in place. I had several times wanting to play PSVR and had to wait for the consoles to charge.

Fifth, convenience/comfort: The headset has a sponge pad that compresses your forehead and cheeks. It's relatively comfortable but not as good as the PlayStation VR version, particularly because the foam gets wet if you sweat, while the PSVR has a rubbery wipe away. The straps that hold the headset on are the fabric and velcro that I was initially concerned about, but you can actually get a solid fit after making a few adjustments. The only downside here is that it won't be easy to switch between other players. The headphone starts affecting your face after long periods of time, but this is the nature of a beast with virtual reality.

Sixth, play/tracking: This device does not require external sensors and instead tracks camera controllers and accelerometers/gyroscopes. I am very impressed with the tracking. The Beat Saber is a good tracking test because it requires really fast movements throughout your body and does not lose the tracking you noticed.

Overall: I think this device is the best VR shot to go mainstream. You can use it anywhere (indoors), without wires and no PC or PlayStation required. It just works. It's relatively affordable and the library of VR experiences is growing steadily and already includes some amazing options. I'm excited to see what the next few years of VR will be like now that the developers have this high-performance standalone device in their hands.

4. what can you do with an oculus quest 2?

Quest 2 gives you full access to Quest content through the library, including Echo VR, Vader Immortal, Moss, and many more. There are also some killer new games and updates available today, like The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Beat Saber multiplayer, Rez Infinite, and some great Japanese content - with more on the way

5.What makes the Oculus Quest 2 worth it?

You buy it, which in itself gives you a complete VR experience where you can play games and apps on board and don't require any installation. But this was also true for the original Quest. The original task was not as comprehensive as it was.

In addition, other VR options need another device to play games, depending on the package you may need to purchase additional controllers or stations/trackers. So either you need something external (failed in the "in one" part), or you lose features (the "all" part fails).
