Simien Mountains National Park in Addis Ababa
The Simien Mountains Park in northern Ethiopia is a wonderful place with stunning landscapes, unique wildlife, and beautiful scenery in the form of natural and traditional agriculture. The natural beauty of this area has always been filled with fear from Ethiopia and abroad. The gentle hills of the highlands are found at elevations above 3,600 meters above water level (m), covered with weeds, isolated trees (Erica and boredom), and therefore the alien giant lobelia (Lobelia rhynchopetalum) is found on a high plateau that suddenly ends at 1000 to 2000 -m deep cliff.

The margins of this high plateau have winding slopes and deep valleys in valley style. In some places, the cliff forms small elevations that provide great birth control points. Given the appropriate environmental conditions, the scenery reaching 100 km above the valleys and therefore the Tikizi Basin terraces in the lowlands are no exception. The park contains bright soft grass and heights of the Simien Dark Basalt Mountains. They alternate and form a massive complex with a thickness of 3000 meters. This complex of volcanic eruptions was formed in the Trinity-Olocene-Miocene period about 20-30 million years ago; Since then, lifting and wear operations have been browsed.

The main attraction in Simien Moumains Garden is its lively surroundings: the steep slopes and thus the cold climate at the height of the Erica timberline (3600 to 4000 meters ash) created conditions for the survival of a type of Capra ibex wee to settle in the Simien Mountains. Despite severe restrictions on its habitat over the past centuries, several hundred animals have survived until then. Aside from Walya ibex, many other animal species have been found within the park, for example, the Simien fox or the Ethiopian wolf (Canis. 071817,51-3 simony's), many birds of prey, and the endemic Gelada baboon (Theropithecusgelada), Klippspringer (Oreotragus omotragus), hence buck bush (liagelphus scriptus). Awareness of those species formed the backbone of the concept of world conservation, which led to the creation of the Simien Mountains Park in 1969, and its inclusion as a World Heritage Site in 1918.

The human population that lives within the region adds to the distinction of this special natural environment. The natural way of life of the agricultural population and their survival in a somewhat harsh climate and due to the scarcity of natural resources brings the remarkable impressions that the visitor will get upon trips inside the park and the surrounding country.
