Ilulissat Icefjord in Greenland
If you love nature, dog skiing, and cultural exploration in this icy paradise, Ilulissat is a coastal city worth visiting as it is located in West Greenland., 250 km north of the Arctic Circle. Ilulissat was founded in 1741 as Jakobshavn. With 4,530 people, it is the third-largest city in Greenland. Whereas in Ilulissat, you will notice a lively sculptural exhibition of glacier mountains just outside the city. Even when your eyes close, the icebergs are with you in your imagination of rifting and rifting from one end of Ilulissat to the other.
Ilulissat Icefjord, famous for its huge Disko Bay glacier, which is dumped by the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier, is one of the few glaciers through which Greenland's ice sheet reaches the sea.
